Serving Veterinary Regulatory Boards in the Interest of Public Protection

Veterinary Information Verifying Agency (VIVA) is the central repository for veterinary professionals' credentials and continuing education and a source of verified data for Member Boards. The VIVA database includes national veterinary professionals' examination scores as well as licensure information.

Veterinary Continuing Education Tracking (VCET) - Allows veterinary professionals to record continuing education for easy transmission to the jurisdiction requested.

Score Transfer - The AAVSB sends an official national exam score report to the jurisdiction(s) requested, in the form they require.

Credentials Service - The AAVSB collects license verifications and veterinary school transcripts (or PAVE/ECFVG certificate for foreign graduates) required by jurisdictions for veterinary licensure. This service may take 5-7 weeks and includes an official national exam score report.

Credentials Update Service - For applicants already using the Credentials Service, the AAVSB collects and sends license verifications, veterinary school transcripts, and national exam scores to additional jurisdiction(s).
