Transcript Requirements

All candidates are now requested to submit an official final transcript which will be uploaded to the candidate's permanent record.


If the AAVSB reviews VTNE eligibility for your state or province, it is a requirement that transcripts must be received and at the AAVSB office by the posted VTNE online application and documents deadline date. View VTNE Services & Eligibility List (PDF)


If the state or province reviews VTNE eligibility with their credential application, the final transcript can be submitted before or after the deadline.


All transcripts must come directly from the school or online transcript service used by the school. AAVSB will not accept student copies, copies of diplomas, or incomplete transcripts which do not show a graduation date.


When requesting a transcript from your school, please provide the following information to the registrar:


  1. Transcripts must show the graduation date and degree conferred.

  2. Emailed transcripts are preferred and must be sent with a professional school signature on the email. Transcripts should be emailed to vettech@aavsb.org. If emailed, the required transcript pdf file name needs to be: Lastname Firstname Schoolname Campusname

    Example: Grittman Nancy Carrington College California Pomona.pdf


  3. Transcripts sent through an online transcript service will be accepted. Email to vettech@aavsb.org.


  4. Mailed transcripts should be sent to the address below. If transcripts have been emailed please do NOT mail an additional copy.
