Transcripts and Facemasks Requirement Info

  1. Transcripts: Please be patient as we continue to process transcripts for the July 15 - September 15 VTNE. Our processing has changed with staff working remotely and it is causing more delays. If you do not have a transcript on file when your application is processed, you will be notified. Once we do have it and process it you can see the status on your AAVSB portal. This can take at least 3-4 weeks in some situations. All transcripts received by August 1 will be accepted and processed for the Jul/Sept VTNE.
  2. Facemasks will be required at PSI owned and operated test centers: PSI is requiring all candidates to bring and wear a face mask to the test site. You will be emailed 48 hours prior to your exam date to complete a required health questionnaire to take with you on exam day.

March/April VTNE candidates unable to schedule by June 30

After June 30 the AAVSB will work on automatically moving applications to the July 15 – September 15 exam for anyone who was not able to be rescheduled by the June 30 deadline, due to COVID-19. Candidates will get new scheduling emails from PSI by mid-July. You do NOT need to email the AAVSB to request this.

During the July/Sept exam window, the AAVSB will continue monitoring closures with PSI as we are currently. Adjustments will be made as necessary. Candidates will not lose exam fees due to closures/reschedules caused by COVID-19.

Testing Centers Opening Back Up

The health and safety of our employees and candidates continues to be of utmost importance to the AAVSB and our testing partner, PSI.

The following essential business information does not include sites in Canada - those sites will be making their own opening and closing decisions, per local and provincial guidelines.
