Most states and provinces require a passing score on the VTNE in order for a veterinary technician to be credentialed
The AAVSB offers two VTNE® awards presented annually. See how you can qualify.
Overland Park, KS (February 16, 2023) – The AAVSB has launched the Veterinary Application for Uniform Licensure Transfer® (VAULT) Premium for Veterinary Technicians. The AAVSB is the only organization in the U.S. or Canada to offer license transfer services to veterinarians and veterinary technicians through VAULT. Previously, VAULT Premium services were exclusive to veterinarians, but now veterinary technicians can experience the same efficiencies.
Credentialed veterinary technicians are in high demand and need to hold licensure in multiple jurisdictions now more than ever. Creating the Premium service for credentialed technicians eases the burden of gaining additional licensure by building a comprehensive credential file and allowing the AAVSB’s VAULT staff to do most of the leg work, such as requesting transcripts and letters of good standing/license verifications. Status updates are available as the request progresses through the Premium service.
The AAVSB’s licensure assistance services are designed to simplify and streamline otherwise time-consuming tasks in a licensee’s professional life. Whether you're moving to a new jurisdiction or expanding your practice to multiple locations, the AAVSB can help for the life of your license.
