All state and provincial agencies use the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE®) to evaluate the competency of entry-level veterinarians and require a passing score for a veterinarian to be credentialed. The AAVSB completes the Veterinary Exam Eligibility Review (VEER) service for veterinary candidates applying to take the NAVLE® through the state of California.
The VEER service and online application is available two times per year aligned with the NAVLE® application window.
While the AAVSB reviews eligibility for California veterinary candidates, we do not credential veterinarians or review information regarding the California State Exam. For specific credential information, contact your state or provincial agency.
